Enrich Company takes a known identifier — a domain or professional network URL — and returns a complete firmographic profile. Search Companies does the opposite: describe the companies you want (industry, size, funding, tech stack) and get back a list of matching profiles.
How accurate and fresh is the data?
We combine a database of 70M+ companies with live web verification, so lookups reflect current headcount, funding, and tech stack rather than a stale snapshot. Signals like website traffic and funding events (plus open job postings via the Company Jobs endpoint) help you spot real momentum, not just a static profile.
Can I find every employee at a target company?
Yes. Search Employees pulls every profile at one or more companies by domain or professional network URL, with job title filtering, so you can go from a company record straight to the people who work there.
How does credit billing work?
Every response includes an x-credits-cost header so you always know exactly what a request cost. Search Companies and Search Employees bill 0.1 credits per record returned (minimum 1 credit per request), Count Companies is a flat 0.1 credits, Enrich Company is 1 credit per request, and Company Jobs is 2 credits per request. You're never charged on a 400, 402, or 429 response.
